Permission had been granted for use as a restaurant some 40 years ago, but a potential buyer wanted to use it in part at least as a takeaway. We were able to prove to the Council through the planning history, photographs and statutory declarations by previous tenants that it had acquired use as a restaurant and takeaway over that period.
