Q: We bought it with planning granted for four flats but want to split it into 6 or 7. Our PP got refused.
A: Planning permission was granted for 4 dwellings and you are seeking to increase that number to 6 or 7. Have you checked to see whether the proposed flats meet the national minimum standards for dwellings (37sqm) and the appropriate mix has been applied in accordance with the Local Plan. As I cannot see the planning decision online I am guessing however 7 dwellings within a terraced house seems alot.
